Skills Workshops

We deliver free skills workshops designed to empower and connect young people with both peers and social services. Our free group-based skills sessions focus on supporting young people to develop creative and professional skills training (e.g., resume writing, public speaking).

Peer to Peer Schools Engagement Program

Our Peer2Peer Schools Engagement Program is a series of peer-led workshops for High School students. Our team develops skills and shares knowledge with newly arrived students to assist them to settle well in Australia.

Students engage in conversations about Australian history and culture, emergency preparedness, Aussie slang, employment rights, opportunities to volunteer and a range of other topics designed and delivered by young people with a lived experience of forcible displacement.

Culture Lab Alumni Network

The Culture Lab Alumni Network is a dynamic and inclusive community designed to empower emerging community leaders as they continue to make an impact in their communities. This space fosters connection, collaboration, and growth, where Alumni can share valuable resources, exchange opportunities, and receive ongoing support from MYAN NSW.
