“MYAN will never do for young people, what they can do for themselves. We see young people as genuine partners in all we do.”
— Annukina Warda, EO
Our Coffee Connect program is an informal youth program where young people can grow their social network in a relaxed and facilitated environment.
Our Peer2Peer Schools Engagement Program is a series of peer-led workshops to develop skills and share knowledge with newly arrived students to assist them to settle in Australia.
Students learn about First Nations history and culture, emergency preparedness, Australian slang, knowing your rights, how to volunteer and a range of topics designed and delivered by young people from refugee and migrant communities.
The Culture Lab Alumni Network is a dynamic and inclusive community designed to empower emerging community leaders as they continue to make an impact in their communities. This space fosters connection, collaboration, and growth, where Alumni can share valuable resources, exchange opportunities, and receive ongoing support from MYAN NSW.
We build cooperative relationships to ensure that young people’s voices are embedded in decision making.
MYAN NSW provides a range of activities and resources to build the capacity of our partners in the youth and humanitarian sector to effectively support young people from multicultural communities.
