What makes you passionate about the area you work in?

I am interested in the way we collaborate with young people to tell stories – to governments and each other. Good policy making is a dialogue – a creative space for conversation and change.

By fostering young leadership roles and support systems, we can create a positive impact that resonates throughout society.

Why do you like working with young people?

Young people from refugee communities play an imperative role in the future of policy making. It is important to provide young people with a platform to be heard in order to spark meaningful conversations and collaboration – shaping future policy.

Annie Harvey is a Social Change Leader with extensive community service experience.

Veronica Gordon is a Project Coordinator with over 10 year’s experience in the Community Services industry fulfilling numerous youth and community work roles, in the local government and non government space.

Naz Sharifi is a proud Hazara-Australian woman currently working in corporate law.
